Important info for FLL coaches
-
Team Information Sheet: All teams are required to bring 3 (three) filled in copies of the Team Information Sheet to the event.
-
Team Roster: Please make sure to print and bring with you your team roster generated in TIMS. For any team members listed as not having completed the electronic Consent Release Form, you must have a paper copy signed by the parent and youth for team members, and any adult members not on the roster must also have a signed paper copy.
-
RDES: See the RDES (Robot Design Executive Summary) Guidelines. Robot Judging will allow 4 minutes for RDSE and 6 Minutes for Q&A
-
Core Values Judging allows for 5 minutes to introduce and execute activity and 5 minutes for Q&A. Similar to past years, NH FLL is not doing core values posters!
-
Project Judging will allow for 5 minutes for setup and presentation, 5 minutes for Q&A. (e.g. if it takes 4 minutes to setup, the team will only have 1 minute left to present)
-
Coaches and parents will be allowed in the Project Judging and Robot Judging rooms only, and must remember that they are in no way permitted to interact with or influence their team during the presentations. Any interaction will automatically disqualify the team. Additionally, parents and coaches are not allowed in the Core Values judging rooms at all. Additionally, as a reminder the competition/event is focused on the students/team members doing the work and leading the charge and coaches should keep this in mind as the judges will be paying attention even outside of the judging rooms.
-
Per FIRST guidelines, we will be providing loose game pieces for the competition field only! If your team will need loose pieces for the practice field or judging sessions please bring them as we will not have extras.
-
Pizza!: As we did last year, we are offering pre-orders of pizza for teams. We will have pizza delivered to the school in time for lunch. If your team is interested in ordering pizza for lunch at the event you must place your order in advance. Payment is due at or by registration the morning of the event and the cost is $12/pizza (cheese) Please let us know in advance if you will be paying ahead of time or day of.
-
In addition to the pizza we will have other food available including snacks and drinks. If your team would like you are welcome to bring your own lunch or snacks and enjoy them in our cafeteria.

Championship Advancement: The Londonderry FLL Qualifier is hosting 17 teams, 7 of which will qualify for the championship. Teams must place in the top 12 in robot performance scores to qualify for the championship. Teams must be ranked in the top 6 in robot scores to qualify for the Champions award. Winning an award does not necessarily guarantee a team will qualify for the championship. Following the awards ceremony, we will announce the teams who will advance to the championship.
